My First Riding Clinic Today! *Update*

I'm UBER excited about it! Kinda nervous because I haven't taken any form of lessons in over a year (long story) but YAY! The woman's very nice (I watched the last clinic cause I had tendonitis in my ankle) and she's really good at what she does.

It'll be a great experience I'm sure. I just wish the weather was a LITTLE nicer.

Update!

It went SUPER well!! ^__^ She was really nice, and really made so many things clear to me. I finally understand HOW to keep my leg in the right position. And its so cool. O also discovered I've been doing 2 point all wrong this entire time. And that my old trainer fit me with a saddle that's to tight for my horse. So I'm definitely getting a new saddle (and bit cause that's wrong too oi...)

Aaaaaand, the biggest shocker of all!! I'm considering going into dressage!! Until now I've never had a proper instructor for it (this woman does hunter, dressage and eventing) and after getting just two very basic things I'm like: WOAH! Dressage is cool!!!

I got Belle to go into frame!! Gosh she was absolutely adorable and so much happier in frame! And the instructor said she really was super cute! And, and, and, and aaaand! I DID I FLYING LEAD CHANGE!!! I've never done one before, I didn't even know HOW to before and I did it! First try too!! ^_^ YAY!! I'm so proud of Belle and myself (mainly Belle) because she is just so awesome.

She already moves super well with a bad saddle, I can't wait to get her one that fits!! Dang she's gonna be a GORGEOUS mover! And she already is!! *dances*

Sounds like a really rewarding experience!

Do you have another clinic ride again tomorrow?

Unfortunately no, but me and a few others at our stable are trying to get her out for some weekly lessons. I hope she's available, I'd really love to learn more from her. We'll also have a few more clinics over the summer with her. ^_^

She's a Quarter Horse X Arabian Cross And I love her. ^_^ Best horse I've ever ridden.

Thank you! ^__^ I think today was really good too, because I got to see how much Belle enjoys being a dressage horse.
