My FIRST ode!!

Im very exited i just got my entry in for my first one day event!!

Its in three weeks at the Ballan pony club. Im doing grade 4. It seems a little strange to be doing my first one two days before I turn 18.lol most people have been doing them since they were little kids. Its going to be good tho because its one of my friends first one day events too, so we will have each other for support and I know a few other people who will be compeating as well in the different grades.

Im confident with my dressage and Tawny is really comming along with cross country although im a little worried about the water but tawny should do fine once she gets use to it again. The showjumping hight is quite small and im sure tawny will be fine.

Im just aiming at the moment not to get eliminated and to get tawny out and have some experiance.

Wish me luck everyone, im sure im going to need it

and does anyone have any tips for the big day??

Hey good luck - sound like you are really looking forward to it

My two tips - first the boring one - keep working hard for the three weeks you have left. And second - just have fun and enjoy your day

First tip, Smile. Second tip, breathe. You will be fine. Just go and have fun. You are allowed to wear your clubs registered t shirt for the xntry phase (or at least you can in Qld). One other rule you must really really remember is.

lol, u got it chester! Good luck and have fun Quiggles! I am sure you will do fantastically! We do E,D, C, B, A (stars) grades here so i don't know how high grade 4 is?? could u plz fill me in?

thanks and yes I will be getting pictures, even if my sister dosn't take them there will be proffessional ones.

Pipstar im guessing grade 4 is equivilent to D grade.

you'll have an awsum time, trust me. yer grade four in Oz is around 60cm.
i was so nervous b4 my first.(ive only done 1) lol anyway. yes i agree...take lots of photos
