I have shipped several dressage saddles- including that exact model in a larger size- and never had to pay more than $30 or $40. They're not bad if you can avoid the oversize charge by finding or making a box closely fitting the saddle.

To some degree, the flaps can be rolled in on themselves, to save a few inches.

What is the reserve? I like the saddle.

First important question should be would it fit my quarter horse/paints that normally have full quarter horse bars.

THanks

The reserve is $600, but I will lower it by a little if the bidding gets close. That is half the cost new.

Are your qh/paints between a medium tree and a wide tree? It fit a shire/thoroughbred and this big guy (hungarian warmblood) quite well.

It's not likely. My mare takes Full QH bars and the standard flex tree Courbette did not fit her. Their new Wide Flex is made for the big-broad guys!

"COURBETTE’S SWISS E-MOTION TREE NOW IN AN “EXTRA-WIDE” TREE WIDTH!!
TO FIT WIDE BACKED HORSES BETTER

The same flexible tree – but about 1” wider than the standard tree.
Available in our Alpina Close Contact & Bernina Dressage Saddles."

Very cool! I didn't know that. Good idea though.
