My day at the Paragon Dressage Show *pics added*

So I spent all day today working the Paragon Dressage Show at Colorado Horse Park.
Event - Dressage

I was the ring steward for ring #2. I had a blast. Some really gorgeous horses, and some really cool freestyles. And I got the job of bridle/bit/spur checker since I was one of th efew people who actually knew anything I guess LOL.

I didnt bring my camrea (stupid me) but Tuesday I might have some pictures to show. Just thought Id share my day

I showed jumpers at the horse park once...so pretty there. It was still called High Prairie Farms at the time.

As far as I can remember, the poll is still supposed the be the highest point in dressage. But...but the modern dressage horse has a much more developed/crestier neck than when the rules were first written for the sport: making it impossible for the poll to be the highest point without extreme elevation of the head. Also, many -if not most- dressage horses are ridden overbent: not that I am saying this is good, it's just how it is.

Somebody more knowledgable please correct me if I am wrong.
