| Senior Member+ | my boys are riding, check out the midget lol OK, my sons have been driving me batty to ride in the arena. Finally we have 2 horses we can do this with I got brave as well and walked Casey OFF the property by myself YAY!! We only went about 40 yds before he balked and tried to come home. I spun him around and did it again until we got past his stopping point and I was the one who decided to stop on a good note Tom decided to get on Casey to show him he wasn't a threat and Casey did really well, I think he is warming up to him finally Anyways, had a great day, I wanted to share, my pride was abundant, this is what family time is all about. Tomorrow is girls day, they will both get their chance to ride alone and I WILL take Casey farther out alone, even if it's only 20 ft LOL Pics will take 2 posts so hod tight so you can see ALL of them

| Senior Member+ | BBJ- All the guys in his band have funky wild hair, gotta love a good kid whos worst issue is his hair LOL WE did have a good time together, my girls can't wait for their turn Expressa- I actually kept my cool today when he did that,he turned, tried trotting for home, I turned him in a circle and one rein stopped him, turned the way I wanted to go with a set point in place and was determined to get there, preferably NOT lying in the road LOL

| Senior Member+ | Great! See that is the type of stuff that I am working on with my gelding. I am slowly getting my confidence back up along with his and it's working fine for us!! I'm taking it slow and we are both adjusting very well. |

| Senior Member+ | we board them. We had a bid accepted on a farm last summer but my husband lost his job and we lost out on the farm I know that short of a distance isn't major to most people but for a timid person like me, on a strong willed horse who likes being at home, it was a MAJOR accompishment LOL Congrats to you too, slow and steady, if its baby steps, as long as its forward steps thats all that matters to me
