My baby's second hunter show

Thanks so much! He is truly proof of what an excellent team of vets and very dedicated owners can do!!

He has a home for life with me and he is actually still living with his momma (haha, NO he is not nursing still) I just moved both of them to TX with me 2 years ago. His momma is my girl she was my all around show horse as a youth (AQHA points in 7 events) and my mom doesn't care for her so she sent her to me to deal with

haha, I love my goofy mare!! and her son!!

I think I know the surgeon you're talking about, I live about half an hour from Tryon. You and your boy look wonderful!!

He is truly a miracle boy...Gorgeous and even better knowing he is quarter horse...

Just in case there is any concern of him jumping, he has been cleared by several vets to jump. His current x-rays look GREAT!!!

The jumps are only 2' at the show. He is schooling 2'6"- 2'9" at home. He absolutely loves it!

His other fave thing is working cows! He is a quarter horse, go figure. He is western pleasure bred on top (Zippo Pine Bar, Hotrodders Jet Set) and is cow and race bred on the bottom (Doc Bar and Skipper W).

We have roughly $10,000 sunk in surgeries and vet bills on him. It got to the point where it was like...what's another $1,000-$2,000? We already have $x,xxx amount in it, if we euthanize then we loose it all, if we keep trying and spend another $1-2K we MAY have a live horse which may possibly be sound. Well, we went for it and he (Tripp) never gave up so we kept putting the money in it.Luckily we ended up with a happy, healthy, SOUND horse with a great mind!!!
