How Much Did You Spend on A Show Helmet/Hat

I'm just curious to see what the general price is. I'll list the amount in US$ and just give an approximate to what you think you paid in your currency.

I think my helmet was about $120 CAD. It is a lidlocker helmet that comes with a velvet cover, so can be used for every day and show (but isn't as pretty as a show helmet, cus its much bigger, makes me look goofy). It serves the pupose nicely.

$60 Troxel Victory. Way overpriced, but looks nice. It isn't big looking, so that's a big plus

Does dressage hats fit in here?? They are like $250. My velvet show helmet was about $120.00 as well.

Don't feel bad that you've spent that much. Mine was US$150 when I purchased it. The new Derby helmets have come down in price since then. I would rather spend a fair bit of money to have the standard and have some protection for my head than a cheap and flimsy helmet.
