[Cantered]

Some of you know how the horse I lease has been a buttcrack lately.
Saturday- unwilling, walked werever he chose, mad at me
Tuesday- Way bvetter more willing but at points he seemed like He was mad at me for working him
Yesterday- Wonderful. I got to ride him outside, no problems, it was my lesson. He was so sweet. very willing, He did try to walk out of the ring like on saturday, but only once and I told him he couldnt do that, it was unnaceptable, and asked him to go back and he didnt try it again! he rarely tried to walk off of the rail, but he did just a little in his bad direction (As I told you about uesday when he refused to go in another direction) But other than that he listened really well, stayed on the rail, went were I asked, we went over some cross rails in a mini course (we couldnt do to much, because a new girl was joining the lesson and we needed to see how she liked it) and I got to canter him! He was so well, cantered strait from the walk, cantered instantly, had a nice smooth gate, and kept the stride for a while, Though he was alone when he cantered, I tried to get him to try in the other direction and he didnt want to canter without cutting his corners
But other than taht he was SO relaxed,he didnt seem mad at me at all and was very willing!
I get to ride him again today, Im going to do 15 minutes of groundwork before I ride him though, as he is going to get used in lessons today

glad things are better sometimes. it's so hard to have to share a horse, plenty of you guys, only one of him. it is really cool that you can appreciate his situation and that you care enough to try to get him happy. good on ya, girl!!

Im glad things are better to!
Yeah he is a school horse, so he gets ridden alot, and alot of people ride him (he seems to be everyones favorite!)
Sometimes its frustrating to know so many people, some of which arent really that experienced are riding him and getting him worked up, but Im starting to get over it, so is he!
It was funny yesterday cause all of the other horses just wanted to trot over the cros rails but he jumped them really high, cause he's really silly, and if he see's a jump, he jumps it, even if its only 4 inches off of the ground
And there were little girls in the audience giggling and saying "Shes really good!"
Kind of made me smile
