Question Money from CC into bank account? *UD 23*

I have a saddle I am buying through paypal. Not ebay though. The seller refunded my $ saying -

Quote:
Would it be possible to send a funded payment from a bank account(not debit
or credit card)? If we accept a credit/debit card payment Paypal wants to
skim off $15.00 and will only let us take four more credit/debit card
payments this year.
Anyone know if I can use my CC to put the $ in my bank account and then use the paypal from there?

This is a hassle...*smacks forehead*

So you basically want to take a cash loan out on your credit card? Then take that money and put it into your bank account?

Yes, you can, but you wll have to pay interest. And, depending on your credit card, it raise your interest rates. I wouldn't do it, cash advances on a cc can get pricey.

You can probably do it in person but maybe not online. At least that is the way my account is set up.
You can set up payPal with a bank account, but in looking at that note it looks like they want to avoid PayPal.

It's just that I have money for it, but not all at once like the buyer wants. It's like they want cash through paypal instead of credit. Make sense?

I hate money.

I don't know why someone would make such a big deal out of accepting credit through paypal, they will get their $ no matter what. *sigh*

You can get cash into your checking account using your credit card, but the card will charge you a fee for it (a percentage of the amount you deposit). Call the credit card company to see if they had any promotions going before doing it. Sometimes they may be running a promotion for a very low interest transfer.

It might just be easier to transfer some savings into checking rather than mess with the CC.

We try not to use our savings unless it's an emergency. Fining a 700$ saddle for 250 is kind of an emergency...right?!

Why would they offer to let you pay through Paypal and then ask for a bank account payment as opposed to a cc payment? I'm certainly no expert, but I have bought many things through Paypal using a cc and no one has ever asked me to fund through my bank account instead.
Again, I'm no expert but it seems a little strange to me....

Same here. That's why I was kind of wondering what the deal was...how do they know the $ is a CC rather than my bank?
