I'm sure he's just a boy being a boy- But you could call out the police just to scare him/teach him a lesson when he does get home.

A worried mama. I've given my parents gray hairs and taken a few yrs off their lives for stunts I've pulled, but I just really hope your son is OK. About how long do you think he's been gone? From the time he should've come home, to now.

Were it me, I would call the police NOW. Even if he is just *lost* in the woods, or at a friends, one lecture from the police and I bet you he will be calling from now on. My son's bus was about 30 minutes late once, and I was in a panic. Calling the school, and talking to my neighbors (Their grandkids ride same bus). I was just getting ready to call in the troops when it pulled up., Needless to say, I was scared you-know-what-less!!! Oh, now you have me stressing too........I hope he comes in soon.

If I was a mother I'm sure I would be worrying right now too. Hopefully he'll show up soon but like they've already said I wouldn't wait too long before getting help. Even if it turns out to be nothing at least maybe it will give him a bit of a scare.

Found him. Of course I get the typical response. Lip. I DID leave a message.

If it weren't so out of character, I may not have been so concerned.
