Missing My Ponies - getting me down

I know there are alot worse things in life, Craig, Miss Bandits Nan, starving children, but I am so fed up with feeling how I do and missing my only real pleasure in life my ponies.

I feel myself sinking into a depression, suppose this is natural, sick of looking at the same walls.

I shouldn't complain, I know, I feel guilty for that, but I am missing all the summer, and just had Folly and was so enjoying riding her, my life felt complete.

I have been to see them and they are well, except for needing a good brush and stuff, but I want to care for them myself, I am not used to someone else doing my ponies, specially Pic.

My other pleasure, this forum, the chair kills my back and shoulders, I push being on here to the limit, till unbearable pain

Oooh shut up Jane,(stupid woman, not a sypmathy thing, just need to vent) sorry thanks for listening.

Read Miss Bandits magazines over and over, watched so much tv my eyes are square.

Will post the photo's of my babies later.

Jane

Take it slowly and you will get there quicker. I know its hard but if you don't let yourself heal properly then the ponies will see you later rather than sooner.

Dearest Jane,

It breaks my heart to find you feeling so low. Once your body starts feeling better, you heart and head will follow. You have been through so much, always the care giver not the reciever. When the head of the house hold falls ill, the rest of the family can and will pick up the pieces. Let your family help you through this difficult time. I have sent you a pm. Will keep this short.

Your friend as ever,

Belle4

Oh Jane, I know how you are feeling. When I broke my wrist a couple of years ago, I went through teh same exact thing. I couldnt clean their stalls, couldnt groom them, they looked horrible. I was out of commision for 3 months with a cast on. Couldnt ride for about a month after that, AND to top it all off, I had just started Spy.
Sure I had someone come over every couple of days to run a brush over them, and hubby did their stalls, bless his heart, but it is not the same as Momma taking care of them.
You will heal, and you will be back up on Miss Folly sooner than you know. Hang in there kiddo, and check your email

Jane,

These are the lyrics to the Tim McGraw song I was talking about. I think this song is just beautiful, everyone can appreciate the message. Sorry, Jessie was logged in and I didn't notice. This is Belle4.

He said I was in my early forties
with a lot of life before me
when a moment came that stopped me on a dime
and I spent most of the next days
looking at the x-rays
Talking bout the options
and talking bout sweet time
I asked him when it sank in
that this might really be the real end
how?s it hit you when you get that kinda news
man what?d you do

and he said
I went sky diving
I went Rocky Mountain climbing
I went 2.7 seconds on a bull named BluManchu
and I loved deeper and I spoke sweeter
and I gave forgiveness I?d been denying
and he said someday I hope you get the chance
to live like you were dying.

He said I was finally the husband
that most the time I wasn?t
and I became a friend a friend would like to have
and all the sudden going fishin
wasn?t such an imposition
and I went three times that year I lost my dad
well I finally read the good book
and I took a good long hard look
at what I?d do if I could do it all again

and then
I went sky diving
I went Rocky Mountain climbing
I went 2.7 seconds on a bull named BluManchu
and I loved deeper and I spoke sweeter
and I gave forgiveness I?d been denying
and he said someday I hope you get the chance
to live like you were dying.

Like tomorrow was a gift and you got eternity to think about
what?d you do with it what did you do with it
what did I do with it
what would I do with it?

Sky diving
I went Rocky Mountain climbing
I went 2.7 seconds on a bull named BluManchu
and then I loved deeper and I spoke sweeter
and I watched an eagle as it was flying
and he said someday I hope you get the chance
to live like you were dying.
To live like you were dying
To live like you were dying
To live like you were dying
To live like you were dying

Jane,

Your most important task right now if healing right. You do not want to heal "wrong" and never be able to ride again do you? I didn't think so! SO with that, things WILL get better and you know the time off for Folly will do her good. Pic well pic misses you but he knows something is wrong and he prob is willing to wait 100 times over for you to get better so you and him can grow old together! (not that you are growing old right now ha ha)

Chin up girl... We are here for you and just think... you are now here for everyone... thank goodness! Hugs to you from across the big old Pond!!!

OH and btw... that song is AMAZING.... I love it!

((((((((((Jane)))))))))))) Hang in there girl, we're all rootin' for you. When my daughter was born, she was very sick and not expected to live. I had had a c-section, so when she was transferred to a different hospital, I couldn't go with her. I finally insisted on leaving the hospital early, promising my doctor that I would get plenty of rest and that I would allow myself time to heal, rather than spend too much time driving across bumpy Nevada roads and mountain passes to be with my girl. Of course that promise meant absolutely nothing to me, other than a way to get my doctor to release me. The minute I was out of there, I drove an hour to Reno and back every single day. I was afraid my daughter would die and I wouldn't be there and she would never know how much I loved her. But I also had a 4 year old son at home who needed me too. The point of this long tale is that I was not content to rest and let my body heal... and I wound up with a very bad infection and my recovery taking many times longer than it should have. In the end, your horses and your family will have you back where they need you much sooner if you can just spend this time concerned with yourself and your healing. Sometimes it's just hard to learn to "be still." Glad we can all be here, cyberly speaking, for you.
