miracle groom did this i thinkk

urgg i came to the show today and i found out that teddy had hives! not bad but if it get worse then we might have to give him these meds. but we thinks it a combo of the heat, sensitive skin, and maybe the fly spray and this stuff.. ive never used the miracle goom stuff but i didnt put that much so i dont think that had anything to do with it tho

ahh i hope he gets better i gave him an oatmel bath today is there anything else i could do to help him get better?

Is he allergic to the fly spray maybe? Did you just get new fly spray or something? Because I found out my horse, last summer, when he was getting hives all of the time (every time we took him off medicine) he was allergic to all of this stuff, and one of them was an ingredient found in fly sprays, so we now have to buy all natural fly sprays which I guess is better anyways (just more expensive.) We also found out he was allergic to all this other stuff, but it was a combo of everything. Right now he is eating hay he is allergic too, but it doesn't effect him because it wasn't being combined with everything he was allergic too. So something triggered it, so if it continues I suggest a getting a test done to see what he is allergic too perhaps.

My horse broke out in places that we didn't even have the fly spray. I'll have to check the name I am not sure. If he has super sensitive skin (which my horse does too) you might want to be careful what goes on him, and fly sheet him (with a neck guard too) during the summer. My horse was getting bad bites, and reactions from misquotes too because of his sensitive skin.

Well, try explaining to them, it is necessary and why. They should understand. If the horse isn't use to the summers there, then that could be your problem with the bugs perhaps biting the horse, and horses with sensitive skin react obviously worse to bugs, and their skin may swell if the bug bites them. If the vet looks at it, and gives you medication to get rid of the hives (which is what happen to us), and you take them off after the amount of directed days, and the horse gets them again, I would recommend getting a test for allergies.
