Minty Man

This is our 30+ yo pony Minty. He is such a sweetie. He is semi retired and is only ridden by young learners, unless I hop on him now and then. He loves to go out riding with us is still foundering fat. A couple of months agos my son bought home his first trophy with the help of the old fella. He certainly has a home with us for life.

The old man gave me a fright this morning. 5.30 am and he is just sitting in the paddock. yes, sitting, he does that often no worries. Off I go to work, come home and he is laying flat out in the middle of his paddock. Couldn,t see him breathing. Out I go with feed for the herd so he sits up sees brekky so gets up and comes trotting over smiling. I know one morning he isn,t going to get up and I am just dreading it.
