Minnesota Farrier Kills Horse - has history of abusing horses

It's been reported that Minnesota farrier (horse-shoer) Glen Bundy has been beating up the horses he works on (actually getting kicked off people's properties for abusing horses) and now actually caused the death of a horse. Info about this allegation is at the end of this email.

Please help get him prosecuted. His contact info is below, as well as law enforcment. Tell law enforcement to throw the book at this guy.

Here is part of an email I got about this:
Hi
You might be getting some calls from concerned people. We had a local farrier that beat a horse yesterday, tied the horse up (wrapped a lead rope around his nose) the horse panicked and suffocated and died. I haven't notified the media, I do not want that to come from this office just yet, but people are calling me asking what they can do. I have told them to contact Sheriff Scott Mattison in Swift County. I talked to Sheriff Mattison and he said they are still investigating. I told him we have people calling and that we will forward all inquiries to his office. We are looking at State Statue 343.21.
I just hope we are doing everything we can.

Holy smokes Pocahontas! Sounds like he needs to go somewhere and re think his liking or not liking of the animal. The man has no patience not to mention no love for the animal he works on.
Anger management may need to be addressed too. Wonder if he is married and has children, I am willing to bet they have some bruises too.

sounds like a farrier we have near us. when i was on Work experiance i met him. he even admitted to me that he hates horses.... he hits them etc too... i was like - what!!!????

Any Blacksmith did that to our horses,

She says "I haven't notified the media", but she'll send out this e-mail about this, and direct OTHERS to contact the Sheriff's department? Hmmmm....

I have been googling off and on this morning myself before I commented...

I'd be questioning the validity of this email due to the lack of ANYTHING beyond an email from someone.

And the lack of details..."wrapped a lead rope and suffocated the horse"...How? did the nose break? Did he seal off the nostrils AND the mouth. Granted most horses have issues breathing through their mouths, it can be done in the event the nostrils break and collapse, the body CAN and WILL do it.

Just makes me wonder about it and the fact that the farrier can nail EVERYONE who posts the information with destruction of character, because this and and probably IS affecting his business.

I'd be interested if someone in Minnisota area that knows him, to see if they can find out more information about him, the people that had this happen, etc.

Who's office is not willing to put their name on a publication, yet wants people to contact the sheriff?

Attorneys would be eating up for a class action suit, even against a lowly ol' farrier. And they would take depositions and just sue him period if they had enough people to go in on it, and a SOLID case.....sheriff doesn't even have to be involved on a civil. Once a civil kicks in, criminal can use the information and prosecute as well.

They said it WAS in the paper. And he has been accused and Sheriff Scott Mattison is investigating this. Has not been charged as of yet.
