Aww...how cute!!! Thats adorable.

As far as training...I would think that you go about it the same way as you would any other horse. We dont have miniatures or ponies, but when we halter break our foals...they are treated like an adult horse...no biting, no walking into my space, to rearing, no bucking, ect. of course you have a few at the begining who will refuse to walk..and might "mule it"(as we call it) or rear, or throw themselves on the ground. And if they want to do that, thats fine...but when they get back up...they will respond to us.

that is the cutest thing i have ever seen. as for training start as soon as possible, i have a minuter taht we have been working w/ and b/c we didn't get our hands on her soon enough she is complicated to handle. she even runs from her owner, my suggestion is to get a halter on her soon and start leading her around and breaking and training as sson as you can.

She is so cute!! Put the halter on and make her follow you, there is a good chance you will do a lot of tugging but it will work! Always stay in front of her, not beside her. I have a new filly and this is my first time and had to learn on my own. She is now 7 weeks old and we lead her, pick her feet (front and back) rub her belly and between her legs, brush her, play with her tail- just about everything. Keep doing it over and over! Don't let her get the best of you! She has to get use to knowing you are the boss.
