Might be able to copy somone's horse on here! PICTURE

I saw the prettiest horse on here. I asked on the thread what the coloring was called and they said buckskin overo.

I had to look then what they run $$$ around me. I couldn't find many. The ones I did find were sold. Personally, I just LOVE the color combination.

Since I am laid up and can't do hardly anything, I spend a lot of time on the computer. So I check off and on if any buckskin overos have been listed. Just listed today I found a gelding that was advertised as Dun paint with black points. Dun is close to buckskin. He wasn't very expensive either.

Keeping in mind how sellers don't like window shoppers, I thought hard about calling her. There was no picture in the ad. I decided that for the price it is, if it is as pretty as I hope, I could turn into a buyer. Deal with hubby later.

So I called her. Explained how I found the ad and that I am not sure about adding another horse. I told her about the pictures on this site of the buckskin overo and how I just had to call.

She wasn't at all bothered by my phone call. The woman can talk!

She told me all about him and about all the other horses she has available.

She didn't mind at all sending me pictures, she just didn't want to pay to put them on the classified site. Her husband was injured and she can't handle all the horses on her own. She has several for sale, and by the end of the conversation, I turned into a serious buyer for a different one of her horses.

A 13 year old, SHORT (less distance to fall), dead broke arab.

When she sends the pictures, I will post them. The Dun paint is broke, but not dead broke. I know you can't ride color, but geez, I want to try.

She is sending pictures of the paint and the arab.

lol I can't wait to see the pictures! There is an advantage to be heading off the college next year. I can only take one horse, so I can only have one horse. Makes browsing easier. ^__^
