Haha thanks Matt! They actually are run through a chute that the trailer is backed up to, so there is really no place to go but into the trailer, but they didn't hesitate at all and just jumped right on!

I love the name Remington, he looks really cute.

Were all the trainers just randomly assigned horses?

Yes, they were random!

After looking over Remington's papers again, it says he was captured back in 2006, so he's been in holding facilities for quite a while. He is a 3 year old.

That's right Ben hopped right into the trailer, didn't hesitate at all...

Just Curious:
Where was Remington captured from? The reason I ask is because like I said, he bears a very strong resemblance to Ben, my Mustang, & Ben came from Devil's Garden in California. See? Not trying to hijack the thread, just curious as to where Remington came from

(I know, halter is too loose-hubby put it on him )

MorabPaint, you work for Kitty Lauman? She is amazing! I can't believe she didn't win the competition, I though her freestyle was the best. I mentioned her in my blog because I used her bamboo pole method!
Yeah, I lived out on their facility in central oregon for a summer in 2002...learned a lot and met my first wild mustangs. It was very awesome and quite the learning experience. I still have to go back sometime.

Hello Gallop3337...Congrats & Best Wishes on your quest in the Mustang Challenge.
Remember to be patient & clear, consistent in everything.
When working with Wild Mustangs, horses etc, you have to put the focus on knowing that some days will be better than others & when you're going thru those rough days, those rough days will pass and the better days are soon & around the corner.

Feel free to call on me for assistance & keep us here at HGS posted Jessica.

Thanks so much for the encouragement, Bruce!

Crazi4horses2, Remington was captured in Nevada, but he sure does look like Ben! You're not taking over the thread at all, mustang stories/pics are definitely welcome here! I'll have to say the Ben has a much nicer mane than my boy
