- I grew up riding a fantastically patient quarter horse pinto. I quit riding when he died during my early 20s. Some 20 years later, I started proper lessons in dressage and hunter/jumper. I love my big guy Yaeger. He is 11 and is as tuned in to me as any other living being has ever been.
