I'm on the look out for a free or very inexpensive mini, so that Xiphias will have company when I take Mikey away....she got hysterical when Mikey got out saturday! He is such a little sneak, but I am going to fix that fence with some more electric "wire" so he can't just step through the fence like he does, just need to order some more fence insulators, and he will not get out again!

I am going to take my cart up to the amish and see what kind of deal I can make with it, I want a 4 wheeled buck board type, one that will take either a pole, or shafts, so I can maybe drive a pair one day...

If you're not going to use the horse-sized car and harness, I'd just sell it. It takes up extra room and plus you can use the money you make from it to buy Mikey's harness and cart. It'd work out better that way too if you plan on getting more little horses. Bless your soul if you do get more little horses.. they are so mischevious!! LOL

I am trying to make up my mind if I want to sell my horse sized cart and harness, so I can afford to get Mikey a little one, I don't have the money to go a buy him one, and keep the large cart and harness, and don't think I will ever have a horse that drives...I am looking in the future to having a few little horses/ponies, and doing driving, I have a friend that has an extra horse that I can ride, so I am not giving up riding, but need to think of how expensive it is to feed large horses, and what the economey will be like in 5 to 10 years down the road...those little guys get fat on air!

I hate having body restrictions. My back has been so bad this year its made riding difficult. I've noticed that one or both of my hips will collapse in their angle and I will immediately go back into a chair seat. I've been working so hard on getting my back and my "core" into better shape so I can get my leg under me better. I used to have a STRONG lower leg and it's gone to **** the last few years. I'm thinking about taking some dressage lessons..maybe a few times a month.

Mikey would look SO CUTE and professional hitched up to a buggy!! I think he would make an excellent driving pony! How FUN!!

Oh I want to teach him to square up, and get some fat off of him, and hopefully do some in hand classes at the local pony shows, he is too big for a mini now, about an inch and a half , but he never had papers anyway, it would be nice to get him hardship papers for the POA Association, as we have a lot of their shows around, but if not, he is still a very small and cute pony....when I get him driving, I do want to show him in the driving classes at the pony shows, we have a Maryland Pony Breeder's Association, that has a bunch of classes for driving and in hand showing...maybe I can even try showmanship But have to whip him into shape first, and get my shoulder fixed, that is holding me back at this time from training

Oh my gosh!!! What a little SNOT!! LOL I can't help but giggle imagining that pesky little mini up to no good. I'm glad you were able to catch him! He has no clue what is in store for him soon, does he?! Hahahha Payback sucks Mister Mikey! I cant wait to see new pictures of him! That new halter sounds so nice! I bet he will look quite handsome and not as pesky with his fancy new halter. You're planning on doing shows with him? I think he will look great showing!

Mikey excaped saturday, he goes thorough the white electric tape fence, it burns me up, it don't shock him...he ran up the middle of the road and into my neighbor's yard, I had to get a bucket with grain to catch the little (can't type what I want to!)....er, Then I did not have a lead rope, and had to lead him with his halter, he fought me the whole way back...reared twice and hurt my shoulder even more, he's got more pi$$ and vinegar in him...just wait till I can lunge him again...I wish I could build a round pen, and work his little butt off but good! Next week I may just shave him...it's getting warm enough that he will not need a blanket, he has so much white on his rump now, almost a snowcap (I think that is what they call it) I got a fancy leather halter from OldGreyMare on here, that has silver concho's on the nose and cheek pieces, it's gonna look so cute in him for pictures, and maybe a show, if I can teach him to set up square~and get him transportation to the local show grounds....

Gert looks more beautiful with every pic I see of her, I was suppose to give mine a bath this weekend, and take pics, Mikey got a new halter, and I wanted to get a nice pic of him in it, but my shoulder was just hurting too much...can't wait to get it fixed! I'll give it a try again next weekend, when it's 80 degrees out....I also have had company staying for the last 4 days, so I don't get on the puter as much...taking her home today...and it's pouring out, so I might have time later to hang out here!
