That is so cool. When I was 8, A mare my Father had, had a filly on my birthday and a friends mare also had a stud colt. George Washington's birthday was the 22nd and mine the 23rd of Feb. They named the foal's after me and ole' George. That's pretty neat, when your 8.

I'm glad it was a good time for you both. They seem to be such sturdy little horses and very sure footed. I've heard they are very smart and catch on to things very quickly. How old was she when you got her?

There's an American Curley registry for them. I'm not big into registration stuff. I figure a good horse is a good horse. You can't ride papers and I don't do any breeding or showing. I like trail riding and camping.

Thats great about the training. It would be exciting to experience that, I'm not a good enough rider to have a youthful horse. I cannot wait to see pics of her under saddle!
