:shakes fist at apartment-mate: I think she got me sick.
Not really sick, but enough so that I don't want to drive the 30 minutes to the barn in chilly, overcast weather to ride.
I may have to go either way since it's going to probably rain sometime early tomorrow morning. Poor Penpen outside in her pasture.
I'm a bad person who picks fights with her TA.

I had my first technical jump lesson today and it was definitely tough. We worked on lots of turning with the outside aids solely which concluded with a 1 stride, square turn, 1 stride with only 6 strides in between. It was tough because the jumps were all skinny. As in I/A level skinny. Accuracy was a must.
We also continued to pick Ed's brain with some tougher jumps in the sense of optical allusions. The first was a skinny jump shaped like this:

I'm so sore from yesterday! I bet Ed is, too.
So, so glad I went, though. More information here:

I was watching TV about how global warming will cause all the polar bears to die out during our lifetime. Not one to always just nod my head in agreement, I did a google search with the words "polar bear population."
Overall, it seems to be bogus. I'm not saying anything about the validity of global warming, however, we have nothing to worry about regarding polar bears.

Both of my ponies were very good today.
I jumped Ed today and he was awesome. So much for him "always" rushing and being silly.
Oh well. He was very soft to the base of the fences and was coming back very easy to get back after the fences. Awesome pony I have.
I really needed that confidence boost.
Penny was also good; a bit zesty, but good. We worked in the round pen today just relaxing in the canter. She really impressed me with her trot today....
