Chester does fall off. Chester had to jump for her instructors certificate. Thought I would give myself the best chance so took chicks horse Pago for it. Graded showjumper. Hadn't ridden him before. Whilst I am saddling up the horse I hadn't ridden before they put all the jumps up to more than max height for it. I fell off. Well, more like slid off after I ducked and Pago took a long spot. At least I landed on my feet and pulled the horse up, got back on and continued the course.

I make a better jump instructor than a jumper. I will only instruct chick jumping though as I don't like to instruct anything I can't do myself.

I am currently jumping 2 novices for owners with the support of www.pink-equine.com. Elvis is a show cob whom I have been riding for his owner Chrissi since she bought him 4 years ago. Elvis is currenly jumping around 3 ft at hom but we are jumping tracks of around 2ft3/2ft6 until his confidence builds in the bigger tracks (well, we are working on both our confidences in each other I think!!!) Mollie, I have been riding for her owner Nikki for about a year now and she is jumping about 1m20/25 at home jumping tracks of 95/1m05 at shows. We have had our ups and downs and she is definately not a simple ride but she is a challenge and very rewarding.

Hello again. I have not really been doing much but I just thought I ought to write to you all again!!!
Mollie has been going really well. Really proud of her. Elvis has cut his nose rubbing on his door we think so he has sexy purple stitches in his nose, Chrissi and I are wondering whether he actually wants to be a show cob cause' he threw a splint last year and now his nose!!!
I am having a confidence crisis and am contemplating giving up jumping but will have to keep you all posted...

Well, I never realised I had a blog section! Today is Sunday and I have been housesitting for Nikki (Mollie's owner) since Wednesday 28 Mrch and so far... so good. I am enjoying getting to ride Mollie when I get home from work and I also get to spend more time with my little Shetland who Nikki has kindly let stay since I decided to fetch her from her loan home after 4 years of separation. I have had her since she was one and she is only 1 year younger than me, so we kind of grew up together and...
