Yeah, and I think the halt will really show just *how* good/bad of a trot you have coming up the centerline, because, at least with the horses I ride, you can't get a good halt from a bad trot.

I definitely agree with you about the old novice b test - that was just awful!

My main issue about the walk, trot, halt on centerline is that I feel it lends itself to a bad trot, because as a rider, I'm thinking about being straight, and halting nicely, not about the quality of the trot. Will really have to ride it to see how badly it goes...

How did you like A's half circle at trot, full circle at canter? That seemed pretty interesting. Or what about B's centerline x4? I really need to ride these too!

Did you see his thread in the horse section? I posted a couple new pics of him on there. I'd send it to you...but I don't know how hehe. He is doing awesome - he is such a good boy and is learning so fast. We'll have him undersaddle in no time! (hopefully...) He is at Daydream Acres right by Maplewood Meats, just off Hwy 29. (about 3 miles from Greenfield). He'll be going to Stone Creek in a month or so.

I have heard nothing about the jump building party, but I hope it's still on! I have a lesson with Deb tomorrow morning and will talk to her then and I'll let you know. Believe me, we NEED JUMPS!!!
