Yay, We did both the prelim 12 and the prelim 4 and managed to stay inside the arena!

Yay!
I jumped my horse for the first time today. She is 4.5 years old. She has been jumped maybe 3 times just over small oxers no more then 18 inches to 2 foot. she was so good, just trotted up and off she went. I am such a proud mummy today! i only put her over twice as i dont' want her doing a lot until she is older.

Well, we did it. the show is over. one rosette, one elimination. it kind of works out doesn't it? It will be a while before we go back to a show. i have some things i want to work on. including her listening to me, manners! and a couple of other things, like speed control in an open space!

she does not listen to the commands to slow down, the bit i have os very soft, but i think for the jumping when i came to it, i may need something a little stronger like a french link.

I found out I will be keeping my job. but i am finding it so hard to actually get motivated. my friend/ colleague is leaving and after this whole redundancy issue has been raised, morale is so low i just don't want to stay there anymore.

i have hardly seen my boyfriend this week, we live in the same house and at the moment we are worlds apart. he is out a lot and so am i. i have the stables a coupe of times a week, the rest of the time he is usually out drinking. we have a holiday...

I am so worn out. physically and mentally drained. i need a rest. i am supposed to be going to the stables tomorrow which i hope to find the time for, but i may be off work sick if i feel anything like i did this morning.

also going to buy some coconut oil and see what the deal is with using it as a mane and tail conditioner.

My eyes are telling me i need to sleep!
