We were having issues catching Cleo. Especially the first time after i have worked her hard, like in a lesson. I rode her both days last weekend and she was a live wire. So this week, Mon, Tues, Weds, I was down after work. I brought her in, groomed and fed her and turned her back out. she was not easy to catch, but got better as the week went on.

As far as the undersaddle stuff goes, she is making progress, but due to the catching issues, i have not been riding as much as i would...

My legs are so sore. that is the most riding i have done in ages! Cleo was my little star again, i have to be aware of what i am doing and what i let her get away with. I need to eb firmer and stick with her. my riding = awful, i am so unfit and feel so out of practice as for so long i have done so little. well, 4 weeks really, of not much riding.

It has been so long since I posted!

We moved, to cut a long story short, she did as expected and went crazy aagain. This time, we are fixing it fro the ground up instead of just lunging etc. so i have had ground work lessons, someone is working (in hand) her during the week for me. fast forward to today. 2nd session with the top horse guy at the stables

well, the move is all organised for next Saturday morning. I need to get there early and groom and pack the last of my things and then i am off. its an hour trip, probably more like and hour and a half with a horse & trailer. I am not as stressed as i was the last time, but i guess this move is my choice and i have had lots of time to find the place that i like and to make sure that i am happy with it.

i have got to stop spending money on my horse now. i just want to keep buying...

Well, after my last thread on rearing and no ground manners i have to say there has been an improvement. Yesterday i lunged then rode her and she was so very good. a little fresh, and a little speedy, but we did a little bit of leg yielding and it was all good.

today, it was cold and windy so she was very spritely. not so easy to control, i chose not to ride after i lunged her. i decided not to tempt fate. somtimes you have ot trust yoru gut, even if your gut says, i can't deal with...
