Yep, just the nine behavior categories.

I've only glanced at your SectionI answers, but they appear to be on point.

Thanks Rick, I was getting so much information the essay really could have gone in three different directions. So do you basically want the nine behaviors and how to deal with each in a training aspect? Like the definition part?
Was Section I correctly done? You know I haven't actually taken a test in years. LOL

Glad to see you back Professor Rick! You missed alot of the fun, only three or four closed threads.

Umm, that should be Evans Borton, et al.

Try, "The Horse" second edition, Borton, hintz, Van Vleck chapter 18.

Well, I'll go take a look at the thread in the Training forum, thanks for the info.

I just asked our "behaviorist" a question on her new thread in training. I think everyone is answering the questions asked but her. Go figure, you know I think I know more than I give myself credit for sometimes. *wink*

I am trying to process all the info. I am finding online. Behavior can be labled from anywhere to herd behavior (dominant, submissive) to aggressive tendancies (bad behaviors). Give me a clue to how exactly you want this answered so I can be correct in my response.

Hey Rick, I am not finding nine specific catagories of behavior for equines. Do you have an author or trainer I should be looking for?

Got section I and am printing it out to read. Take as much time as you need for Section II.

I sent you section I in a PM. I am going to need some time to properly answer your scenerio question in Section II. It is going to turn out to be an essay when I am done.

Enjoy yourself. I look forward to your answers. And, since those answers will probably create more questions, this could be an informative and entertaining discussion. Perhaps, after the dust settles, we should consider starting a new thread on the subject.
