Yeah - it's putting a damper on several options for trail riding. There are some trails in IL that have a lot of sand and are usually okay when it's wet. We may go there. Thanks :-)

Hi, It's been drenching rain all week and more for Fri. Since most of the trails are through timber and along the bluffs it doesn't look good for the weekend. If we don't get some sun and breezes, we may no be able to use the arena on Sat. Just giving you a heads up, in case you still can make other plans.

I have to pick up a friend's horse in WI on Sat and the farrier is coming at 8am on Sunday. I may try and come up on Sunday after the farrier gets done.

We'll be there sometime Fri. We'll probably ride a bit on Sat. The picnic starts around 6, Sat. evening and a Trail Class demonstration that anyone can participate in. Sunday will be those of us that camp. You could come any of those days. Hope to see you.

What time is the ride on the 30th? I am having my new farrier come on that morning at 8am. Hopefully this guy is better than the last 2!!! I need to have shoes put on one of our horses for sure.

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you. We'll be at the park in Clinton on the 28th. Club picnic on the 29th, and ride on the 30th. If you can make it, your more than welcome to come join us.

No problem! Sounds like you had fun :-) I will let you know about the 27th. We're picking up the buckskin qtr pony this Sunday so we'll now have my big well-broke gelding up for sale. If it takes awhile to get Buddy and my granddaughter comfortable with one another and I need a horse to ride then I'll get my friend's horse that I sold him :-)

Sorry Quilting1. I didn't get back to you. Kid's invited us for supper and today, I've been outside since dawn, working in the yard. I have 2 grandkids getting married here and I've been working on gardens since April. We're hoping to go to Clinton and spend a few days towards the end of the month. We have a large 4 horse trailer, so when we go, it's usually for several days. We're thinking the 27th, till the 29th. Let me know if that works for you.

We're getting ready to go riding somewhere and haven't heard if you're available. No problem if you're not - just wondering.

If we can pick up my granddaughter early we may be interested in coming up this afternoon if you guys are available.
