Thanks Deanna. It's strange that so many local people don't even know about this!!!

Hi Pam. Looks like I have the same question/response as Bonnie - what is Mule Fest? Not sure. I've got April at a trainer's not too far from there, Brinton Timber that is. So, I won't be trail riding - for a couple months now. I'm having them get her ready so I can show next year. Looks like Friday and Saturday will be good weather for you - so far. Not sure Sunday looks good - could rain. Anyway, have fun

Hi! Do you know if Brinton trail/camping spots fill up during Mule Fest? We're planning on coming but not sure if we should plan on coming down Friday afternoon/evening or if Sat am would be okay??? I hope all is well with you and your family. Have you heard from Bonnie? I haven't heard from her and am hoping everything is okay.

Thanks! I am also getting a horse back that I bought for my nephew a couple years ago and then he sold him to a friend of ours; our friend decided to sell him back to me for what he paid my nephew for - cheap :-)

Hey, congrats on your new horse - Cowboy? I think that's his name. Any pics? Hope all is well with you. Hope to see you and your new horse soon.

No problem. I need to get some better pics of my new qh - I'll try to do that this weekend. His barn name is Cowboy and he has some really good breeding. He is very calm on the trail and has a very smooth trot and canter, but isn't as well broke as Jet was; we had him tied to the trailer and Derek turned the hose on to water the horse next to him and he threw his head up and tried to get back and away. He does seem to get used to things quickly. After a few min Derek was able to put water in the bucket right in front of him, but sure wish he was better about that stuff. I'll probably need to sack him out and do exercises like Ann teaches. I'll let you know when we come down again; Derek really likes the trails in Brinton.

Hi Pam. Sorry i didn't get this before. I didn't even ride this weekend because of the heat. Was it hot? Sorry to hear about your friend. I hope she's feeling better. I didn't know about your new horse - any pics? I'll have to check it out. Let me know when you come down again and maybe we could hook up.

Hi Deanna! I think my son and I are coming down to Brinton tomorrow to ride and didn't know if you might have time to meet up with us or not. We are planning on leaving here around 8 am and I think it's about 1 1/2 hours down there or so. My cell is 319-430-6710 if you need to reach me :-) Pam

Hi Pam. I'm not really sure where Brushy Creek is - I cannot travel too far because I have my kids at home today. I was thinking of either going today or Sunday to Brinton Timber. Maybe I can go to Brushy Creek someother time with you. Have a great 4th of July
