I thought that the person that told him must have been talking about Kahoka, MO and he misunderstood. He thought she told him it was in Brighton and we were going to stay at Brighton Timber.

Pam, there could not possibly be a Mule Fest at Brinton Timber. It is nowhere near large enough for something like that. There's room for maybe 5 campers at the most... Your son must have heard wrong. I asked Doug about it, and he called our friend who is into mules, and there is the big annual Mule Fest in Kahoka, Missouri this weekend. It is not far into Missouri, but probably 2 hrs. from here.

My son heard about it from someone in the area. But it is very strange that no one else seems to know about it.

Where did you get that information about the Mule thing? Brinton is so very small...I don't know where they would put all that! Maybe it is at Shimek?

I'm not totally sure what it is; something like people with mules/horses getting together. There's supposed to be educational seminars, swap meets, activities, etc. It's in Brinton this weekend. This must be the first one or something and we'll probably have to take our chances on getting a camping spot. I hope you have a fun weekend at the wedding. Hay doesn't sound like fun but our crop was so poor this year I'd rather have more to do! Let me know if you ever want to ride - I'd love to meet up with you guys again :-)

Hi Bonnie! I hope everything is okay! Do you know if Brinton Timber fills up quickly during Mule Fest?

Pam, click on my name and write me back on MY page, so that it notifies me that you wrote! I saw your messages below because I was looking to see if you had any new pix of the new horse, otherwise I would not have known you answered! Thanks!
