I did get a new horse and I sold Jet. The guy I bought my new horse from used him to rope and work cattle and only sold him because a horse he's wanted for years came up for sale. Then right after I bought him the other horse the guy wanted got gored by a bull. I've offered to sell the horse back to him and he may take me up on it but wants to wait to see if the other horse will heal up.

Hi Bonnie! Brinton was a little muddy but not terrible. A riding friend rode my new qh and ended up falling off of him. It wasn't the horses fault - even she said so. But we ended up having to leave early to show her the way back to I-80 so she could go to the ER. She didn't have anything broke thank goodness. We'll have to get together to ride again sometime.

We had gone down to Shimek & camped at River Valley Campground (Farmington), with my daughter and husband, and another riding friend, so I did not see your message until we got back! Hope you had fun at Brinton...it did rain a bunch here that day.

Sorry Quilting1. I didn't get back to you. Kid's invited us for supper and today, I've been outside since dawn, working in the yard. I have 2 grandkids getting married here and I've been working on gardens since April. We're hoping to go to Clinton and spend a few days towards the end of the month. We have a large 4 horse trailer, so when we go, it's usually for several days. We're thinking the 27th, till the 29th. Let me know if that works for you.
