So yesterday besides having to walk in thigh deep snow all the way around our 6.5 acre pasture (basically the equivalent of walking on an eliptical for an hour) went good. I met up with my BEST FRIEND in the whole world, and we went to the Regional Competitive Cheer meet @ our old stompin grounds... lol It was fun. Bought a shirt, saw a whole bunch of girls that I cheered with and that I graduated with. I basically had a blast, and realized how much I miss competitive cheer. I didnt start...

The school day went decent and was quick. Then I got home from picking up my little sister, and there was so much slushy ice on our driveway that I couldnt get my truck in the garage in one of my attempts to make it possible, I accidentally slammed my thumb in my door... so my nail is now black and my thumb is huge... Im thinking that when I get to tech today, that my teacher is going to tell me to go home, because I literally cannot do anything with it. It almost wont fit into my shears and I...

Today is sad, yet great at the same time. This is the last time I will truly walk these halls. The last time I will be on this website on a school computer... I will miss, and won't miss this school, and all of it for awhile. Oh well at least I get to sleep in tomorrow!

So.... The horses came home about a month ago, and they settled back in quite nicely. For a long time though, I couldn't ride. It was driving me crazy!!!! But finally the ground dried enough, and now we have our arena formed... Skip has been just wonderful... The first few times, after cantering he kept breaking into a jog when he was walking, but he is getting better. He is even remembering how to pivot undersaddle. We just have to start working on patterns, and then when I get sick...

So I guess you could say a lot is done at my house. The horses come home this weekend, but we don't have our indoor riding arena/barn done yet. That will come later, they have to finish the house first, and the excavator has to move the top soil from where our indoor and outdoor riding arenas are going to be. The vet came today, and they just squeezed us in for our east/west 4 way vacc, internasal flu, and coggins tests. So I sat at our friend's house waiting for the vet all day. This weekend...
