    Well, if you are in the states the best way would be to get in contact with the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association http://www.cowboymountedshooting.com/ or the Single Action Shooting Society http://www.sassnet.com/. Both groups would be able to hook you up with clubs/people in our area to get you started
    Personally, I have only competed at U.S. Cavalry Association events, but one of these days I hope to get to a CMSA event.

    Yep, I am a civil war cavalry reenactor so obviously I shoot off horseback during battles and reenactments, so then on the side, when I get the chance, I'll do competitive mounted shooting It's a lot of fun!

    ooo me an expert at this! lol...ummm Terralta is the best place at the moment...think...its the third Saturday of every month...its a horse and tack sale...i normally go.Also theres one in Wanyesburg,PA but its on thursdays during the day so...i have school...the sales in Terralta end in October...its the last sale before winter and then the next one is on the spring.

    Thanks! She's a little over 3 months now! She is a real gem! She is halter broke, and leading very well. I can not believe that she already responds to whoa when I'm leading her. She really stops everytime I say it when she starts to walk ahead of me. She also stalks me when I hang out in their yard. I am so amazed by her.
