/There is no such thing as a bad distance
/The magic canter, ahdead of the leg...easily lengthend or shortened
/Supple and ridden from inside leg to outside hand....think haunches out. counter bending to get shoulder in, then back to inside bend. /Spiraling in and out.
/Once you have the canter the jumps just come. /Work for the in, the out is a gift.
/A flyer isn't acceptable
/Do not throw shoulders.

I haven't written in this thing in a long time! Another show season has past and I must say my pony and I kicked butt. After a winter of hard training we finished top 5 in all of our divisions...out of 30+ horses! I'm so proud of my little size challenged horse. Next year we're moving up a level to the provincial hunters!

Its fall now...almost winter...back to the drawing board for next year. My pony is all clipped and everything at the barn is so muddy on account of all the rain...

Yup can't believe its June already! And June is almost done! Gosh we're having such a slow start to show season this year. Almost July and we've only been out once! Ah. Oh well, we'll get going. Anyhow not much to say, just wanted to say I'm glad I'm done school and wanted to wish everyone (except all you aussies who are having winter right now!) a happy and safe show season!

Well its finally spring, although you can only feel it by a few degrees. The horses sure know it though, man. Spring fever! They're like "Omg its getting warmer!!! LETS BE CRAZY!". Yeah. Oh well... school is so boring for me lately, this new semester is driving me crazy: english, media arts, art, and civics. It is too easy for me...last semester I had all the hard stuff and call me weird but I miss it. I'm bored to tears at school now, and I shouldn't be complaing because I don't have...

Well I have nothing better to do so I thought I'd write my first entry in this new journal thinger.

Not much going on with me right now, just chatting on msn. School tomorow...ugh...but at least its almost friday. We just started physics in science. I hate it so much.

I'm riding tomorow though, so thats good. It supposed to snow tomorow...oh no that means wet horse. Ah well, might clip him tomorow. I had a lesson the other night...the horse I was riding was jumping...
