My horses, lol, well you remember my mare Rikki. She's pretty much retired now but I don't plan on ever selling her. Of course Jesse, my mom's paint mare, is still around. Back in the fall of last year I bought my friend's eventer from her for really cheap because she's in college and I was one of the only people who could ride him. He didn't really work out for me though so he's back at her dad's with his horses. Just recently I purchased my new boy, Spear. I knew him when he was a foal up until he was about 3 (he was by my trainer's stallion) and when I found his ad on the internet I knew I had to get him. I'm soooo happy with him so far and I'll be riding him as soon as my new girth gets here.

Long enough horse story? haha I really do think I have the right one this time though, so hopefully I won't have the need to be buying and selling anymore.

I love it there. I'm not a big party-type so it suits me just fine. I like that it's small enough I see the same people an awful lot, and that I can walk from one end to the other in 15 minutes. I guess it just depends on the personality type. You know a lot of people gripe about UMW but I figure if you're searching for that "college experience" maybe it's not going to live up to those expectations. But I love the buildings, instruction, and general atmosphere. If you don't mind living close to home it's a great place. I don't mind being close to home...military brat so I've been all over and am quite happy to be within 45 minutes of my house and other two horses.

Haha, yes I'm not really sure how to use this visitor messager thing. Didn't even know it was here until today! Yeah, definitely. Let me know if you'll be around on the 15th we're doing that show. You can miss us, biggest bay Thoroughbred on the property with a big white blaze.
