I was lucky enough break the growth plate in the elbow instead of the actual joint itself. Mine does ache at times, but the only activity I've really found that I can't do is bowling. Luckily I hate bowling anyway, so who cares. Lifting hay bales bothers it after a while too. A friend of mine broke hers bad enough to where they had to put it back together with screws, and I know she does still have some issues with pain and mobility. Hers was quite bad though, and never healed correctly in the first place. My advice is to LET IT HEAL.

That would be great! I'll ask my daughter - she's busy with WinterGuard competitions for the next several weekends, so we'll see.

It is never too late to start with your art once again. You just need to carve out some time. Today I am painting a baby Texas Longhorn calf. She is a sweetheart and so much fun to paint. I will have her on my blog soon. Ruth Andre
