My civil war reenactment went fine. I'll post a blog soon. Still recovering

It will be great to get together and ride. I have to be in San Jose in Mid May but can't bring the horses (of course...unless they can stay in the hotel room with me as "pets"...). End of June, and then July and August are wide open for me. By then hopefully you have Lucy going well too!

So how do you make comments pop up instead of embedded? I will play around and see if I can get them to be pop ups....San Jose is actually where I bought my Arab! It's very doable for me to do a day ride there. I hear you about life being unredictable. Nothing in horses and endurance works out how I thought it would. It's certaintly been interesting. It was good to read that your Morab was feeling better. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that whatever is wrong with her dissapears and stays gone!

I'm going to college so I can't take my horse with me unfortunately. I see her on the weekends and she's on full board being a pasture puff. Half moon bay is beautiful I went down to that area for a show once I loved it.

Sigh, what a week.

For my birthday I bought ingredience to make chicken cordon blue. It was really good and easy to cook. But no one could understand why I didnt' want to have a big dinner with the family or go out for my birthday. I wish that they could understand that not only does my dad not have a lot of money for going out to dinner and whatnot (espeshally since my sister went out two weekends in a row for her birthday barely two weeks before) but that quite frankly I wanted...

Like literally!! Haha! I took her out for a quick ride down Daves road this morning. She was very energetic starting out, not very suprising since she is eating half alfafla now! But anyway. I did some neck stretching with her but was having trouble keeping her attention. SO I decided to head off. I asked her to stop and back up a couple times but she needs a lot more work on that! She throws her head up in the air and doesn't go straight back! We went out to the why where I let her graze a bit...

This moring I went out to feed, and because I just bought a whole bunch of Stable Mix I was weighing it and trying to figure out how much I was going to feed. Kezi of course was being very impatient while I was scooping feed. Then I noticed a lot of noise from up in the pasture. Lucy was running around over in her water corner. Then she took off and ran full out to the other side of the pasture! Then came galluping back again!
When I was finally all done weighing the feed I took Lucy's over....

So I went riding yesterday for the first time in three weeks! Although I almost didn't end up going. I had decided to ride down the hill and up to Sandy point. I went out to get Lucy at 9am thinking I would be able to get back by noon ok. Well, Lucy didn't want to go for a ride. So I spent the next hour chasing her around her pasture. I must say she has gotten very agile being up there. And she jumps over logs and brush which is really cute, plus teaching her to pick up her feet more. That is a...
