- I train in a variety of styles from classical Dressage to PNH. My favorite breeds are Peruvian, Paso Fino and Appaloosa, (Indian and Sport Horse types). I typically ride a McClellan but also ride in either a Dressage saddle or Western which was the style I learned originally. My gurus are: PNH, GaWaNi Pony-Boy, Ed Connell, & Alois Podhajsky. I read voraciously, am an experienced rider-trainer and have ridden since earliest childhood. I start the occasional colt but spend more time finishing green horses or retraining other folks' problems. I believe that Dressage is the foundation of all riding disciplines; and that there are many paths to a well-trained horse. However, I also find tremendous merit in PNH. I try to keep an open m
