- I have loved horses my whole life and started riding as a 7 year old child at a riding school in England. We then moved to the Czech Republic (the heart of Europe) and I rode at a riding school here. Following an accident, caused by the careless mistakes of my teachers and leaving me with two missing teeth, I stopped riding for six months. We then bought a cottage in the countryside and I began riding at some racing stables in the same village, starting out on the calm and old thoroughbreds who had retired from racing. As I became more able, I began to ride some of the calmer racehorses until eventually, now, I can ride most of the racehorses in their work. I also take care of the horses and I enjoy this very much.
