I had only one of the 3 cakes I made last until Christmas (last year). I've been asked to make one for work so that will be interesting.

No way would I do that. The last batch I had I ended up splitting up between three tins! I'm probably looking at doing several tins. They all turned out well though. I just hope I can make it just as well this year.

I've just remembered your Christmas cake recipe. I think it is time to start soaking fruit in rum. I'm going to get some Captian Morgan spiced rum this year and give it a real good soak with that and some triple sec.

I'm going to make some for work as well. Need a bigger cake tin to make it - have thought of doing a double batch.

My mate in Adelaide inspected the float today. Took loads of pics - gotta upload 'em and show you.
Looks like a go-er. Will probably have to look into remounting the spare as it won't fit on the drawbar however it doesn't appear to take up too much room in the tack box. VERY big tack box.

I have offered a $2,500 deposit and will see how I go. They won't be finished using it until 4 December. I have offered to make last payment on 10 December and have mate pick it up and keep it at her place until I can make arrangements to get it to Darwin. Have conducted a REVs check and it is unencumbered. I thought it was silver and red but it is metallic grey (not quite silver) and red.

    I found that TB
I told the current owner of Jack to seek legal advice. I'm willing to provide statements if necessary. I can't tell her what to do from here though.
