Usually a 73 will get you a check everytime, but it wasn't my day. I won with a 73 last weekend, but that's how the cookie crumbles. (What does that saying mean, anyway, LOL!!?)
It doesn't take any more than normal to prepare him. He'll have 2 full weeks off, then I'll start bringing him back up about 3 days on the third week then work him everyday on the week of the show.
Cindy (doublebarr) told me about a young horse that is supposed to be ready to show going for a cheap price and I can't get my mind off of her. I'd definitely need to get rid of one or two horses I have now (not Tex) and make sure she's really show ready. Then I say to myself "
What business do you have trying to have TWO show horses
?"
It's mighty tempting though. Makes my heart flutter thinking about it. I used to show 2 horses and I loved it.
