Hi, just stopped by to thank you for the friendship request. I'm looking forward to getting to know you better and share some trail experiences!

I noticed Bonnie's suggestion for water containers for camping. We use the fifteen gallon containers that the dairy farmers get their disinfectant in. If you have any dairy farmers in your area, they are more than glad to get ride of these containers - for FREE! Just rinse them out really well and you're good to go. We got this hint many, many years ago and now have six of them in our trailer's walk in tack room. And, if you need to refill them when you are somewhere that has water, you can easily roll them back to your trailer - unless it's down hill! LOL They can get going pretty fast and you wouldn't want to wipe anyone else out! HA HA

    Thanks again, Pat

Oh, and whenever you come should be OK. We will try to save you a space -- I will have to bring my car down after work, and may not get there until 6 or so anyway, so I can park it in a spot for you. Doug is going to go earlier and take the horses & trailer to get a spot. I will call you if for some reason it fills up & we don't go!

Hey cool about the Masterson clinic...it should help April, and it is good stuff for you to know too. Can you go to the weekend one?
As for the water, we use some large barrels that Doug pours out of. You could maybe get one of those 5 or 8 gallon camper water jugs and set it in your trailer, then use a hose to fill it. Doug can help you dump water from the jug into a bucket.

OK, here's the plan. Doug is going to Brinton on Friday, early enough to get a spot, and I will come down after school--also after I pack up the coolers, so I probably won't get there until 6 p.m. but Doug will be there earlier. We are planning to stay 2 nights, unless it gets crowded there or something. So, wanta come Friday night?

I am not sure yet which nights we are camping, yet...Might depend on if it fills up! There's only room for a few there, so maybe Doug can go down and set up Friday...I will get back to you. There is no water there..so bring water for April and you!

Hey -- Doug and I are probably going to camp and ride at Brinton this weekend...couldn't reserve a spot at Shimek! All full! So, would you want to come ride with us? Probably be there Sat. and Sun.--maybe Monday.

Yep...Doug is OK with that. He is planning to mow the hay today, so there won't be anything he has to do with it tomorrow morning, at least! See ya then!

I like Cassie...she is also a farrier, but has cut back on her farrier work since the baby.

The most important thing about lunging April is to make sure you have her attention, and that she isn't looking around at other things; so she knows you are in charge!
