very nice..geldings are always good! I am debating on gelding the yellow stud..we are going to sell him and Im unsure weather to keep him intact or geld him..simply for saleability..Ive had parties interested in him in both ways.

Cattle is pretty big in our area..Im learning as I go..have good mentors though and that is important. He told me he wants to win..told him to get practicing. *grin* PRobably only stick with local stuff..the big shows want their cattle so fat..and with all that hair..to much effort on the hair and I dont want to overload the fat on cattle Id want to breed in the future. That is great about Lane..even sweeter because they earned it right? Yep, Showing is pretty expensive!

County was on here, but he recently passed away..not sure if you knew that..hmm..cant think of anyone else..unless they have changed their user names?

ah, the dreaded Uno..here that..Ive never had one, thankfuly..how depressing for you. Yes, stud fees are pretty crazy. We bred only Buck this year, after Big Chex last year, my finances needed a break. the mare had to get 2 shipments, as she was funky cycling and did not take the first time..that SUCKED!

Im glad you and Tal are still getting along together. Ive heard of alot of folks who just cant do the big D, alot due to the financial aspect of it..so I dont think you guys are alone in this..as long as it works for you, thats all that matters.

Yeah, I wish they sure would be euthasuastic..Casey used to be, then he grew up more and lost it. sad, but OK I guess. I think the cattle will give him a sourse of some money and teach him about business and buying/selling...and its something I enjoy as well.

That is great about Lane winning the provincial championship! How very exciting for you all! That sure is alot of money to spend though. Hopefully, he'll get back into the horses and start his winning ways there as well!

So you are going into the english stuff now with your paints? Ive found there is nothing bad in local small stuff..you dont spend a mint, and have a decent time.

I remember you seperated from your husband..Im sorry about that.

Casey is a big soccer-ite now too..he really enjoys it..unfortunantly, he'll have to do also football or baseball, as those are the two "big" sports in our town. Wish Casey would be more involved in the horses, I gave him Lena last summer when we sold his pony, as he'd outgrown her ability wise, and he hasnt ridden but a handful since then. He's been working with my heifer, and seems to like that..think he will show her in Sept in showmanship..and we are buying him another Simmental/Angus Heifer to show in the conformation class. I much prefer cows, alot less work thenhorses.

We are all fine..no, not a whole bunch of showing. Paul has been in Kuwait, so the horses are on holiday. Ive lost alot of motivation..sorry to say. Still enjoy riding, just not showing..mabey it'll change, but Im content to bop around and do a local cowhorse show or two.. Paul is wanting to do more, so I imagine Ill play groom for him. Thanks for the compliments on Delilah..she was pretty much what I was hoping for.
