He said if the edema calms with cold , it is swelling due to inflamation, and if it gets worse should be treated. But since the edema it self has not been treated yet, he said to wait to see if it responds. She may need an anti, but a shot should do it.

If you wouldn't mind picking his brain on the issue- what he thinks about scratches that have inflamed the coronary band on a foal, I'll never complain about a second opinion. Do you need anything from here for her legs, the Vets at the barn first thing tomorro, anything you need from him, and do you have the bandages you need for her?
