    My four horses are:

Holly: A 20 yo solid-bred Paint mare - unfortunately unregistered. I've had her since she was a yearling, but never got her registered before the DNA requirements for sire and dam went into effect.

Harley: A 14 yo dark bay NSH Gelding. He's a Bask grandson. He's Gorgeous and he knows it. Moves like a dream. Likes to think he is the Herd Boss.

Experimented today with another location. Mixed feelings. Free access. Gorgeous scenery - except for the broken glass and beer cans at the start of the ride. Oh, and the vehicle traffic.

Did not take Harley - good thing as he would have freaked out at some of the rocks and cacti. Bill behaved well for me. Ray fell off Holly as she was cantering up a slope.

We'll try taking the truck down the road to the river. If it looks promising, we may try this area again.
