Ok, I just did something totally unlike me, but i'm so excited! I just bought a beautiful Bates Isabell Dressage saddle from another member here! Oh my gosh i'm excited to get it and ride in it! S is going to look like a million bucks. I'm so excited!! And we just got hay delievered! I love fresh stacks of hay - so green and purty. I can't wait to get my saddle. Life is good today.

The weather was not great the past few weeks, but it broke yesterday It was sunny, mid 60s, and no wind. So I actually stopped working at a reasonable time and I rode S & E. S was really good, E, eh, she was ok. I really want to take both of them down to the arena this weekend and ride them NOT in a circle for once on ground that is level and safe. Snow, perhaps? actually I would prefer snow to this rain and WIND. Oh my goodness the wind is something else - 30 MPH with gusts over 40 MPH all day today. I had a hard time sleeping last night from the rain hitting the windows/roof. I felt so bad for the horses - the barn has a metal roof which is loud in the rain Poor babies.

The horses were none too happy about the rain - Poor E acts like the world is ending when it rains, she fusses and prances and refuses to step in puddles...
