- Been riding as long as I can remember. My mom purchased my first horse when I was 5. The horse we got was a 7 year old named Cutter. He was way to much horse for me at the time, he was young and I was prety new to riding. We sold him and she bought Seargent from her friend Bonnie. Seargent was her daughters old rodeo horse, I think he was like 15 or 16 years old then. I took him to my first rodeo competition when I was 7 years old. Sadly I only got to a competition that one time. It was an 2 hour drive to go see my horse and I only got to see him a few times a month.
I really got started on the horses when we moved to Illinois from Colorado in 1996, I was 13 years old then. We had left my dear old Seargent in Colorado to retire on that
