    yeah, true.
I'm going to look again in the spring so we can save up over the fall/winter and have a higher price range. BUT, I'm going to take riding lessons over the fall/winter so I don't have to completely stop riding.

It's going ok. lol. I've decided to start riding her bitless though. And I'm trying to teach her to neck rein. But I'm still on the saddle hunt. The treeless saddles have suddenlystarted to appeal to me. lol.

Well...unfortunately, we decided that I'm a little too inexperienced to deal with the problems I'm having with Elway (I need a little more of an easy-keeper), so his previous-voluntarily- bought him back. Luckily, Elway and I didn't really BOND. (Not that I'm not sad about the farrier screwing him up)

Funny story: when I was little I had this thing for Arabs (because the first 3 horses I ever rode were Arabs, thereby making them the awesome-est ever, haha) so I decided that my first horse was going to be an fleabitten gray Arabian mare. I eventually got over that (now my favorite breed is the POA) but guess what my first horse was/is? hahaha yup, a fleabitten gray Arab mare. Gotta love that one.

I'd love to meet a Saddlebred one day. They seem like such great horses, beauty, height and brains! lol And what a great combination of two great breeds!
I have a sinking feeling Arabs may be like potato chips, you can't just have one. hahaha Atleast they're cute!

For sure you can be my first friend! =)

She's a 24 year old Arabian mare. ^.^ I like the way she's put together too. She doesn't have any major conformational flaws and the only thing I'd change about her confo is the way her neck ties into her withers, it's kinda funky but most Arabs seem to have it so it must not be too deadly. =P She's a cutey pie. The first time I ever saw her it was pretty much "like" at first sight, she was trotting circles around me like I was lunging her only I wasn't and she could hardly trot more than 7 steps without coughing because she was grossly overweight. I told my trainer that she looked like a unicorn (she totally did! this little white chubby long bodied short legged thing running around) and she's been my unicorn ever since. =P
Thankfully I don't have any men in my life that have reason to be jealous of her so I'm set. Haha What breed is your girl?

She probably was! She's a funny girl, she acts all girly most of the time but then sometimes she goes all multiple personality and busts out a very manly persona. hahaha I love her to death though.
I'm glad to help you possibly find a blanket you'd like! =) I searched long and hard before I found that one and I'm really pleased with how high quality it appears to be for how "little" (in comparison to most blankets) I paid for it.

I'm in the Portland, OR area. =) Yay for being in the PNW!
