hmm...that's not TOOO bad.....it is more than I pay for board where I am, though. Unfortunately...my parents would probably be like "NO WAY!" because of all the other costs with college.....
Do you keep a horse/horses at Kirkwood???

Oh, cool! Yeah, I'm wanting to take my horse with me (when I have one)...but I heard you have to wait until after your first year...or semester or something, and then (depending on your grades)....you can keep the horse there. Do you know how much it costs to keep a horse there...? Probably a LOT!

WOW! Very...horsey-ful!!! It's perfect! I was worried about being homesick...but I don't think I can be with horses around! What are you going to college to be? I'm interested in equine massage therapy/chiropractic work...haven't decided which yet......

Oh wow!! Ha!! That is funny... only in Iowa. Yes, Tiffany is the proud owner of "Dreamer" who is just a doll. Yes, I board Emo at Martin Creek Farms. She is the one who told me about this horse show.

That would be wonderful! Just let me know - Emo has a delightful walk/trot. I've never had formal riding lessons and I know I have a tendency to lean forward when I ride... I just hate to blow his chances at winning anything based on my lack of skill. But honestly, I am just there for the experience and the fun of it all - we'll probably be way out classed, but that's fine with me. I believe I have some out of state Gypsy breeders that will be coming to this show just to see Emo, that's the most exciting part for me! ... I'm so excited about the show and being with real horse lovers. We should be there around 2:00 tomorrow. hope to see you! - Kristy

Oh cool! Make sure you say something to me if you see me. I plan on entering Emo in a lot of things, the colored halter class, costume, walk trot (english & western) -- this is all new to me (showing horses) so I'm just doing this all for fun. ...would you be interested in riding Emo in a class? I'd hate for Emo's chances of winning to be fouled up by my lack of experience. Just a thought.

I decided to keep the English saddle. I put it on Emo and it fits him pretty good, plus its SO comfortable!
