Walked a mile. The last part of the first 1/2 mile is down 2 big hills so the first part of the last 1/2 mile is going up these big hills. Wow I made it. Had to take the dogs with.

Jeff left Monday August 4th to become a Marine. He will be in San Diego for 13 wks. His graduating date is October 31st. I never thought it would hurt this much. We are very proud of him and love him bunches.
Well rode Bonnie today. She is coming along as a good horse. I put the side pull with a bit on her which I started on her a while back ago cuz she kept wanting to pull the reins out of my hands and it was getting frustrating so a friend suggested the side pull with the bit and voila it helped tremendously. We had a good ride and I took her down our dirt road. She was spooked a tad by the squirrel running out of the tree but other then that and something else spooked her from behind I didn't get...
Well since 8/1. We did take him out of the rp and we were doing really good. But then Buckwheat bucked and my son came off breaking his collar bone. But since then my DH has been on him 2x and was only backed off the first time he got back on him. I am right now just working on ground stuff and him accepting the bit. I'm not confident enough to get on by myself.
