- I have been riding from the ages of 8-17 years old, taking lessons at a B/C hunter/jumper barn. I was forced to quit riding my senior year of high school, my parents stopped paying for it and I couldn't afford it on my own. I spent the next couple of years painfully without horses.
I got back into horses when I bought my first and only horse after I got married 2 years ago. I bought him as a yearling and have been helping to train him along side of my trainer, Sarah. He is now 3 years old and I got on his back for the first time on May 22nd, 2006. He is still young so we are taking things very slowly, not doing anything stressful until after he turns 4.
