Just sitting around....Giving Dakotah a whole week of from riding....It's so boring....The only thing to do is go to school and go on the computer!

I don't think i'v told anyone this but my grandpa had to go in the hospital because he had the shingles...in the hospital for about a week then doctors said not only did he have shingles but now he had i think namonya....He finally went home and is now resting in the care of grandma!! I am so happy!

Well today i thought i was just going to do a little walk maby trot....but when i got over to the arena i decided that i am just going to canter a circle in both directions to see if he got our lesson yesturday....He was awesome! He litterly had his head on the ground (but still flexed) and did this nice smooth rolling canter!! I am so happy!

Well i have already told you about the jumping part of the lesson.....Dakotah did so good with his canter yesturday too! Usually he would throw his head up and rush...like he does with the jumping. but today he did the nicest canter i could even get him to collect using half halts(he usually will break to a trot or bring his head back up)!!!!!!!I am just ecstatic!!!!!!!! I LOVE THIS HORSE!!!!!!!!

I am SOOOO Happy!!! Dakotah finally learned something with his jumping! Lately i have been working on his jumping; he has been throwing his head up and rushing over the jump. So i made a gymnastic and started off slow with just ground rails untill he could do it without rushing and with his head on the ground. Then i gradually moved it up but only got as far a about 2ft. Yesturday i went over a line of 2 jumps and troted over the first; picked up a canter and he just cantered over the second one
